Agreement to SMS Terms
These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your use of the SMS and text messaging services ("SMS Services") provided by Moment, Inc. ("Moment," "we," "us," or "our"). These SMS Terms supplement our general Terms of Service and should be read in conjunction with our SMS Privacy Policy.
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Moment, you agree to be bound by these SMS Terms.
Eligibility
To use our SMS Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Be a resident of the United States or Canada
- Have a wireless device capable of receiving SMS/MMS messages
- Be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided
Opt-In and Consent
You may opt in to our SMS Services by:
- Providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during account registration
- Texting a designated keyword to our short code or long code number
- Enabling SMS notifications in your account settings
By opting in, you expressly consent to receive automated and non-automated text messages from Moment at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message Content and Frequency
SMS messages from Moment may include:
- Event reminders, updates, and calendar sync notifications
- Account alerts and security notifications
- Customer support responses
- Promotional offers and marketing messages (if separately opted in)
Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent as triggered by your account activity. Marketing messages are limited to a reasonable frequency, typically no more than 4 messages per month.
Costs and Charges
Moment does not charge for SMS messages sent to you. However, standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan. You are solely responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message
- Contacting us at support@momentco.ai
- Updating your notification preferences in your Moment account
Upon opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message. No further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. Opting out of SMS does not unsubscribe you from email or other communication channels.

Supported Carriers
Our SMS Services are supported on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and their affiliates. Carrier coverage and compatibility may vary. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our SMS Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered successfully, on time, or without interruption. We are not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier or device.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moment shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the SMS Services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes damages resulting from message delivery failures, unauthorized access to your messages, or charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or through our website. Your continued use of the SMS Services after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
Governing Law
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, consistent with the governing law provision in our general Terms of Service. All disputes arising from these SMS Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our general Terms of Service.
